June 6th
Today we headed out of MacKenzie after a breakfast with Steve and then we said our good-byes. Bernie gave us some Bear Spray ...just in case. Our first stop was Bijoux Falls where, along with the spectacular falls, we saw dozens of Stellar jays. Further down the highway we pulled over to take in the breathtaking vista of Azouzetta Lake against the backdrop of the Rockies. Just outside of Chetwynd we saw our first Black Bear at the side of the road.
